I feel like this is probably the worst place I shopped ever. My usual go to places are Net-a-Porter, Farfetch, or Matchesfashion. Never had a problem with any of them and the customer service was always superb. Here I decided to place an order for a silk top for my birthday (other places sold the same top and idk why I decided to shop at Moda Operandi). They charged me $15 shipping to ship from NJ to CA which is fine given that the item would arrive here on time. The item clearly got lost and I reached out to their customer service to see what could be done about it. I got a very generic response and clearly Kyle who was responding to my message never even bothered to look into my issue. Now and have three days to find something for my birthday party which we can all agree is a little annoying and there is no help coming from Moda Operandi.
Moral of this story is, there are much better places to shop with less issues and more supportive customer service.

I purchased a dress called the "serita dress" designed by Cult Gaia in a size medium. I originally saw the dress in the Bloomingdales department store and I tried on various sizes in order to determine what fit best. Long story short, Bloomingdales did not carry the color that I wanted in this particular item. I was so excited to see that Moda Operandi had this dress and in the color that I wanted. This was my first purchase with this company and I was truly disappointed when I received this dress and it was too small. I began to think that I made an error in the sizing that I had chosen. I chose to go back to Bloomingdales to compare the dress that I received to the one I saw in the store. I tried on both dresses which both had the size printed on the tag as a Medium and I also measured both dresses against eachother. The one I received from Moda Operandi was noticeably much smaller in length and width. I don't know if this was a manufacturing error or if this company is not retailing authentic items but I was very disappointed and will be returning this item.

beyond expectations

I ordered a set of books from Moda Operandi. Two times now they sent the incorrect set of books. They sent a hardcover and paperback version of the same book! And they did this TWICE. The second time i requested they send the correct set of books I purchased the customer service rep (Liz C) indicated that I would need to return the books, wait for them to inspect it before I can get a refund. Then, I would need to repurchased the books from their website. Their website looks nice, but not worth the hassle when shipping goes wrong. I've been going through this for over a month now.

I love my purse it's big and beautiful. My item shipped out the very same day I placed the order and I received it via UPS the very next day. I will definitely be shopping here again in the future.

I never received my order and no one has responded to inquiry????
